April 02, 2024 | 11:30AM | The Leo Triplets

March was another bust for observing. We had tons of rain, which I never really complain about because I love the rain and the majority of the year is pretty dry here.

I was able to get out one night and capture a set of objects I was interested in getting in one field with my 61mm. Here is my capture of the Leo Triplets on March 19, 2024 which consists of M65, M66 and NGC3628, also known as the M66 Group in Leo.

While waiting for the triplets to rise over my house, I was able to capture M81 and M82 with some friends over the garage in Ursa Major.
